Anxiety Free Dental Care

We recognize that not everyone is as excited about dentistry as we are. Sometimes people are afraid of visiting us. This hurts our feelings. But, we offer a solution; We combine a gentle hand with the newest technology to create a positive and pain-free visit.

We are kind and relaxed. We don’t scold our patients for not flossing. We play relaxing music and for our patients who need more than a kind word, we offer Nitrous Oxide and can prescribe anti-anxiety medication where appropriate.

Oral Cancer Screening

Oral cancer claims approximately one life every hour in the United States, and a third of all people diagnosed for oral cancer have no known risk factors. As a routine part of our comprehensive dental exam we closely look for detectable signs of oral cancer.

TMJ & TMD Screening

The TMJ, or temperomandibular joint, is the most complex joint in the human body. TMJ related issues can cause joint pain, muscle pain, and headaches. Distinguishing between these many factors and correctly diagnosing the problem takes two things Dr. Plitt has plenty of: patience and experience.
